What a wild ride! Stresshead’s latest release, “Want (Need)” is littered with an array of surprises that’ll have you dumbfounded from start to finish.
U.S.-based producer and vocalist Stresshead has quickly garnered a following around his blend of melodic pop hooks and erratic electronic production. This is beautifully showcased on “Want (Need)” through choppy, atmospheric vocals and a progression that takes us through dramatic highs and lows courtesy of the stellar sound design and the tension Stresshead creates. One of the core features that aids in all of this is certainly the rhythm section, as it’s adorned with fills and switch-ups that constantly shift the energy we’re welcome to.
