Sophie Faith is undeniably poised to become a future icon in R&B and soul, and her latest project Hold My Drink, Watch This firmly reinforces that promise.
Sophie Faith is a London-based singer/songwriter whose unique fusion of neo-soul and jazz has not only garnered her a dedicated fan base, but has also earned her noteworthy collaborations with Stormzy, CARRTOONS, Jay Prince, and more. “KOKO” stands as the closing track of her new EP and here, her vocal delivery is bold and juxtaposed with themes of self-care and relationships – particularly detailing unforgettable nights out with friends at the venue KOKO. Her vocals are warm and slick over the guitar-led instrumental and I loved the dreamy appeal the subtle synths offer throughout the experience too.
Reflecting on the project, she shared, “I was fortunate to create this with amazing people I genuinely love and respect, including my favorite producers, Youth XL from LA and Fred Cox, who executive produced the whole thing.”
