What I like about “Haven” is that it’s not as straightforward to put in a specific genre
The German producer Sine, whom we’ve previously featured with his delicate lofi single “Hold On”, returns with a new song that takes inspiration from the downtempo electronica world, while still carrying the lightness of lofi beats.
Built upon warm & nostalgic shimmering guitars, subtle vocal samples, ethereal synths, and half-time beatwork, “Haven” does feel like a safe place; like a warm blanket. It is both melancholic and hopeful, and aiming to be “a small refuge in sound for anyone who needs to pause, arrive, and breathe.”
