Rooskin’s “Kent Comes Into View” is a relaxing sonic journey that blurs the lines of genres, drifting effortlessly between textures and tones that feel both nostalgic and refreshingly new.
Rooskin are an indie-pop band from Essex, UK – combining their array of influences to create a feelgood, summer loving, easy-going sound. “Kent Comes Into View” serves as a preview of their upcoming album, and I loved how the soulful allure of the guitar embellishments intertwine so beautifully with the dreamy soundscapes courtesy of the synth works. As the track progresses, more color rushes in, especially with the inclusion of the vibrant percussive arrangements. Even though there aren’t any lyrics, this whole experience and the emotive progression tells a story through its gripping melodies.
