Mom Tudie dropped the sickest track in the 2025 jazz-adjacent universe, and I can’t stop spinning this gem on an endless repeat. I feel this is his best work to this day, and “Bloodshot” solidifies his position as someone who can seriously do it all.
The British producer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer merges jazzy horns with some of the tightest drumming I’ve heard in a while, all that serving as a base layer for his signature vocals. Instrumentally, it feels like a very futuristic take on Dilla’s work, which makes me love the track even more.
A great vibe to just space out and enjoy the beauty of summer.
