For his second release as his new moniker mango heist, Koresma delivers a sophisticated jazz house gem that features a nostalgic trumpet line by the iconic Ryan Svendsen.
Towards the end of 2024, mango heist launch with the release of “at first” and it’s beautiful to see Koresma’s consistency with this project. The track “second session” is adorned with a dreamy touch, a groovy bounce, and it’s even laced with an acid house influence thanks to the bass line. What honestly breathes life into the track though is the brass embellishments. I loved how its presence wavers between hopeful and melancholic while the rhythm section anchors the track with a steady pulse to keep us moving till the end.
