The UK’s neo-soul, jazz, and r&b scene has always drawn me to it; the way the artists there blend those genres simply speaks to my soul.
I’m delighted to welcome two Leeds/London talents for their Stereofox Records debut – singer/songwriter Honor Carr & producer/multi-instrumentalist Leo Hollywood.
They’re en route to share with the world their debut EP called February (dropping June 26th, actually). Its creation took a year (from February 2024 until 2025, hence the name) and explores different situations, emotions & relationships throughout that period, while utilizing the signature UK blend of urban genres.
The upfront single “waiting for you” is a melancholic, yet warm tune about longing and fuses amazing guitars (courtesy of Dan Hall), heartfelt vocals from Honor, and groovy drums & soft keys by Leo.
Stream/buy it here.
