If any bass players are about to listen to this, they’re in for a real treat. Godblesscomputers’ gorgeous new release via Delicieuse Records is a stellar bass-driven track adorned with smooth, atmospheric textures.
Lorenzo Nada, known as Godblesscomputers, is an Italian artist whose musical journey is deeply rooted in beatmaking and DJing. Driven by an early passion for sampling and vinyl records, he crafts a sound that seamlessly blends organic textures with electronic elements. “Maitri” serves as a stellar example thanks to the tasteful combination of glossy synth works and soulful guitar arrangements. My favorite moments however are centered around the bass as it carries the groove and tempts listeners to sway from side to side.
“Maitri: Loving-kindness, towards oneself as well as others. In Buddhism, Maitri is the first of the four virtues that one must practice in order to dissolve any sense of a separate self.”
