Echonaut’s gorgeous new release “I’ve Got You” blurs the line between hopeful and melancholic with its moody atmosphere and progression.
This marks the debut single by the UK-based electronic producer Echonaut, and we can hear shades of artists like Jasper Tygner and Lawrence Hart as influences. What stood out to me in “I’ve Got You” was the captivating sound design and how Echonaut kept us hooked using the same melodic progression from start to finish. The sturdy bass line and the UKG-leaning rhythm section add to the track’s dancefloor appeal, and this is complemented by the soulful presence of the romantic vocals repeating “I’ve Got You” throughout.
