We’re welcome to an incredibly dreamy and comforting listening experience on dj poolboi and projecktbau’s latest collaboration “can’t sleep alone”.

Even though dj poolboi and projektbau now move in distinctly different corners of electronic music, both artists emerged from the lofi house scene, and it’s beautiful to see how their careers have flourished as they’ve explored new sonic paths. The release “can’t sleep alone” hints at their lofi origins as it’s minimal and hazy, yet packed with an emotive impact thanks to the heartfelt vocals. Subtle guitar embellishments paired with atmospheric pads create a warm, late-night atmosphere that gently lingers long after the track ends.
