We’ve been long-time supporters of Dejector’s “sad dance music” with Lu’s first featuring dating all the way back to 2021. The Newcastle-born, London-based producer creates mature and emotional electronic music that combines personal experiences (including voice notes and field recordings) with elements of UK garage, house, and breakbeat music.
“Need Your Love” drapes its engraved euphoria in mild nostalgia. A track that’s suited for both the dancefloor and solitotry headphone experience. It will quietly flood you with warmth, while keeping that mellowness at the back of your head, and that’s why I absolutely love it.
