Dans La Rue submerges listeners in a world of psychedelic guitars and sultry bass arrangements on their gorgeous new release “Discotheque”.
Dans La Rue is a new project from Philadelphia with groovy, modern psychedelia elements inspired by the likes of Khruangbin and Glass Beams. Not only is “Discotheque” their very first release, but its distinctive mix of funk, soul, and old-school guitar flair makes it clear they’ve got real potential in the scene. One of the moments that personally grabbed me throughout the experience is when the drums came to life and made their presence felt under the groovy bass lines and glittery guitar arrangements.
