Collect 200 takes us back to the ’70s with their latest release “Dream” – an indie disco infusion anchored by a groovy rhythm section and soulful vocals that are impossible to resist.
Collect 200 is the project of London’s own renowned singer/songwriter/producer Stevie Appleton and Toronto-born and bred, platinum-selling producer Nick Henriques. Together, under Collect 200 they’ve birthed a sound different from their solo alias’ that’s reminiscent of Jungle and Tame Impala. We’re acquainted with exactly that on “Dream”, and I loved how the dreamy vocals in the chorus seamlessly float over the vibrant guitar arrangements. When it comes to the drums, they possess a pristine live feel, staying true to that vintage essence that the track exudes.
