I’d spotted BLK ODYSSY’s name across countless spaces, but MOOD CONTROL was the moment I finally tuned in, and it made sure I’ll never forget that name.
Since 2021, BLK ODYSSY has been tastefully blurring the lines between r&b, soul, and indie in a manner that’s brimming with passion. One of the standout tracks from his 5th studio album MOOD CONTROL exhibited this sentiment beautifully. I’m talking about the musically opulent and vintage-leaning “POSSESSED” – a track that’s embellished with a range of raw and polished instrumentation.
