Baril has just unveiled his latest EP FYF, take two via Intercept, and one of the brightest gems on the project is the journey-like “Eyes (take two)”.

In an interesting turn of events, the new EP actually started off a few weeks ago as some fun edits Baril wanted to share on Discord. The opening track, “Eyes (take two)” is a new rendition of “Eyes” from his For You Forever album, and this version is stacked with beefy trip-hop drums while retaining the emotions and atmospheric grace of the original. The soulful source of the track emanates from the soothing vocal sample coupled with the stellar arrangement of the keys. Towards the end, the track comes to life as bright, lush synths wash over the mix and fully immerse listeners into the experience.
