If you named your song “IPA”, you’ve already got my attention.
But aside from probably my favorite beer style, “IPA” is the newest single from Richard Cejer, out via Vokall Records. The UK-born, Utrecht-based singer & producer unveiled a smooth, soulful & jazzy tune about “a breakup where a few too many beers may have been involved.”
The song is warm, kinda gloomy, but at the same time also hopeful & groovy. Heavily influenced by Mac Miller’s later work and artists like powfu, “IPA” delivers a warning message: answers to life’s problems aren’t found at the bottom of a glass (no matter how tasty).
