Samara Cyn has long-ago claimed her top spot on our hip hop lists, but one more reason to shout this into the world is more than welcome. That reason is called “what will they say” and it’s her last single drop before 2025 is over. An incredible run for an artist we’re yet to see taking over the world.

“Some of y’all asked me to drop this after seeing me perform it at Camp Flog Gnaw over Outkast’s Ms Jackson beat. I couldn’t put it out over their beat, so here is the original instead“, she shared on Instagram. I haven’t seen that performance, and although I’m curious how her flow fits over the classics, I actually am glad she dropped the original. Love the soulful energy of the beat on this one. Makes me feel like a Sunday before Christmas.
