One of the most skilled rappers and producers out there, tg.blk solidified her top position on my list thanks to her latest psychedelia trip called “teflon”. Last year, I covered EP ITS NOT THAT DEEP and I’ve beeb a fab ever since.
Built on jazz foundations and a spaced out, psychedelic instrumental courtesy of eyezeck, the track blossoms into something out of this world. Nyathigi floats over the beat with a Dilla-esque, unhurried flow, sluggish in the best possible way, turning the whole piece into a genuine, top-shelf masterpiece.
