I’ve been utterly obsessed with Anna-My’s 5-track trip In Motion, Always, which I had the pleasure of showcasing last week, so naturally it’s time for a single spotlight on our feed. I picked “Luigi” as it has been my go-to track when it comes to good times. Friends and I did a mountain road trip last week and I played them the EP in the car. Instant vibe!
Going back to “Luigi”, now that the song has marinated in my mind, it weirdly reminds me of Peggy Gou, but if she were to make alternative very underground-ish dance music. I love the arcade-like synths and the cosmic energy of the track, which makes it a pivotal part of the EP journey.
