From the instrumentation to the vocal performance, MISS C-LINE’s latest track “Coming Around” radiates an infectious, soulful energy that’s impossible to ignore.
The Switzerland-based rapper, singer, and producer MISS C-LINE infuses elements of hip-hop, jazz, and electronic music to create a sound that’s entirely her own. On “Coming Around”, she has leaned a lot more towards neo-soul as her airy vocals delicately float over a musically opulent instrumental. The dramatic brass arrangements paired with the fascinating rhythm section complements her passionate performance, especially in the chorus. Towards the end, the tone shifts with the introduction of an incredible flute solo, slowing the mood down to gently land us from this compelling ride.
