We’ve been fans of Axian for so many years (first feature dates back to 2017) and we’ve also had the pleasure to release together a few times since then.

Today, the Danish producer is back at Stereofox Records, in the company of Chilean guitarist Alberto Droguett & US-based saxophonist Chai. “Roses” is both melancholic & soothing, with lush brass & ethereal guitars over a chill hip-hop drum groove.

Axian shares,“Roses” is meant to convey a melancholy and reminiscent feeling like a wilting rose slowly fading. That image has been the main inspiration for the creation of this track. For me personally, it’s about the fleeting nature of people and the hardships we face in relationships. I think the various changes throughout illustrate this idea in a cool way. “
