We’re long-time fans of Oslo’s soul/jazz scene (GiddyGang, Joggebukse, Sūn Byrd), and I’ve just found a new (fav) name, hailing from Norway.
The now-London-based singer/songwriter Sletta blends her homeland’s style with UK influences, crafting a sound that’s ethereal, warm & beautiful – both familiar & uniquely hers.
I fell in love with her first single for 2025, “Out Of Time” – woven with jazzy keys, a wonderful drum groove & sweeter-than-honey vocals. But Sletta’s whole discography is an absolute delight (make sure to also check her latest release “Bring It Back”).
