Last week saw a wave of fresh projects being released, and among the standout projects was All American F*ckBoy, the latest album from California’s very own DUCKWRTH.
DUCKWRTH is the kind of rapper who is a sonic chameleon as he traverses well beyond the borders of hip hop. On “I’m Really Changing” featuring Sherwyn, he explores the realm of indie and alt-r&b, delivering a track that feels both intimate and genre-defiant. The bass, along with the guitars, certainly take center stage throughout the instrumental, especially towards the end when a thunderous solo enters the mix. Lyrically, this release beautifully captures the themes touched on throughout the album in quite a tasteful and concise manner.
