daste. are starting 2025 on the right foot. The gifted Australian trio has unveiled the release date for their upcoming album, dasteWORLD (Feb 19th), alongside an official album countdown, vinyl pre-orders, and a string of Australian tour support dates with Still Woozy.

In the lead-up to their highly anticipated album, Callum, Tyler, and Braxton have been captivating listeners with a series of standout singles, including “Around“, “Starwriter“, and “River“. Needless to say, I’m a fan.

Their latest offering “Tide”, feels like the soundtrack to a slow-motion underwater experience where life seems careless and still. I love the smooth vocals layered on top of a smooth, wonky laid-back instrumental. The trio shares, “Tide is the tale of two songs, really. During one of our writing trips, we wrote a song called ‘Tide’ that featured the first verse and pre-chorus you’ll hear on this track. It had a slightly similar vibe, maybe a little more upbeat. Fast forward a month or so, I uploaded an Instagram reel of a bassline/beat I had made, and it got a great response from a lot of people. We wanted to find a way to include that beat in the album.“

One more solid reason to be excited about the release of dasteWORLD next month.
