It’s time to kick off the year for Stereofox Records, too.

Our first release for 2025 comes from Soul Food Horns, who you should already be well familiar with. The NL/US collective joined forces with Dutch producer Papi Thereso (aka Jack Julian) for “Havent’s Slept Since”. The jazz beat gem, reminiscent of the likes of Blue Lab Beats or Braxton Cook, has a lot of groove, jazzy keys & warmth but with Soul Food’s signature touch on the flutes & sax.

“This track was written a few years back when I was living in Rotterdam. The beat came from an improvised jam, which we resampled and composed around. We spend most of our time together on stage rather than in the studio, so this was a fun and organic way to cook up an idea together,” shares Louk (of Soul Food Horns).
