Zacchae’us Paul’s album JAZZ MONEY is packed with food for thought and the production is overflowing with various influences to ensure an immersive experience.
Rooted in the vibrant city of Atlanta, Zacchae’us Paul is a young multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter of the highest caliber. One of my favorite tracks from his new album is certainly the heartwarming “WHAT’S HAPPENIN” with Cisco Swank and P.U.D.G.E. It feels like gospel, jazz, and conscious hip hop are brought together in an edgy yet soulful manner. The bright keys and uplifting harmonies provide a striking contrast to the lyrics, which delve into themes of societal struggle. Towards the second half, I loved the unexpected transition especially since it kept the listening experience fresh and exciting.
