In the middle of 2024, Sound of Fractures unveiled his debut album SCENE – a project that transcends music and intertwines the lives of listeners to some extent.
Since we began following UK-based producer Sound of Fractures in 2022, it’s been incredible to witness his evolution, with SCENE showcasing his artistic growth in captivating ways. SCENE is an interactive project fueled by NFT and Web3 tools, where fans contribute personal memories and photos inspired by each track, building a one-of-a-kind anthology of “Scenes”. The track “They Don’t Know Me” feels like it not only hints at this sentiment but the emotive allure here beautifully captures the mood of the album.
I was quite fond of the sound design here. We’re tossed into a whirlwind of lush, glimmering synths complemented by vocal samples. This is underpinned by a sturdy bass presence carried by a rhythm section decorated with an array of colorful percussion.
