What a beautiful title, if you think about it.
The Dutch-born, Melbourne-based producer Stan Forebee is back with the 2nd single off his upcoming EP The Long Road (Dec 5th). The song is called “Warmly Stoic” which plays with the concept of the project – that it’s often better to be patient and not choose shortcuts, as the journey teaches you very valuable things. And ultimately, leads to a better & fuller life.
“Warmly Stoic” carries Stan’s already signature hazy jazzy approach to chillhop, with marvelous keys, playful basslines & a wonderful drum groove. But this one also has a cinematic touch that evokes the sweet melancholy of realising things will be alright at the end, even if they’re not always good.
