If you’re looking for your next fix of electronic euphoria, look no further than the work of San Francisco-based producer and DJ Clearcast. Franky blends elements of UK Garage and bass music with experimental pop sounds and the result is enough of a reason to stop paying attention to anything else today’s feature.
“I Do” captures the sensation of drifting through uncertainty after reaching your highest point. I appreciate the blend of atmospheric textures and wistful synth leads, which together evoke a sense of melancholy and longing. And of course when all of this is set against a backdrop of driving UK garage and breakbeat rhythms, then it’s certainly instant love in my book.
This was the first time I stumble upon Clearcast, but it didn’t take long before I started digging around his work – with shows on Loft Radio and sharing stages with artists like Overmono and DJ Seinfeld, he could easily be my next favorite electronic producer.
