Super chill and groovy, “Out of Your Woods” is the perfect accompaniment for your morning coffee or after-work wind-down.
Inspired by the mythical world of Pierides, the track imagines stepping out of a dense forest and into an open meadow, welcomed by the gentle sounds of flutes and horns. Dreamy melodies and relaxed grooves create a peaceful, immersive atmosphere, carrying a subtle sense of discovery.
The track comes from Austin songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Marshall Lowry, now based in Seattle, whose background as a jazz saxophonist and big band arranger gives him a keen ear for instrumental textures and harmony. He’s joined by fellow Austin-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Sam Howden, together creating a warm and spacious soundscape that feels like a little escape from the noise of everyday life.
